We were going to put these pictures on the site to show everyone our latest piece of furniture. A vintage cupboard which we upcycled by painting it in F&B colours inside and out before hand painting pretty roses on the front and side.
We put it in the shop this morning and it has sold immediately!
In the shop for less than a day and it is already off to a lovely new home which is nice because we didn’t know whether the painting was something which would appeal to people.

We had a really busy weekend while the Bakewell Baking Festival was on and we were a little low on stock but we went on a really successful road trip and found some fabulous new things for the shop so we’re full of lovely things again.
This coffee table is in excellent condition for its age and includes a built in magazine rack underneath the table itself.
We couldn’t resist this pair. A toy cot with a fox on one end and a pig on the other and a very sweet toy ironing board. As much fun to play with today as the day they were made!
We love old books and these cinema annuals from 1945 and 1946 have some very glamorous photos in them. Some of the stars were obviously big names at the time but are virtually unknown today.
These small jugs are just really pretty colours and look lovely together.

We love sewing boxes and always have them in the shop – in several shapes and sizes.
We were lucky enough to find a classic lobster pot stool the other day. An icon of its day!
